Psychic Reading ??? April 2, 2003

THESE ARE E-MAILS I SENT TO MY SUPPORT GROUP ABOUT MY READING...

My ex-sister in law (still like family, has been divorced for YEARS from my brother) went to a psychic 'for herself' and was asked if her spouse just died?? ... she said NO her Aunt just passed away. NOPE - it was a male... As it turns out is was her nephew - DEREK trying to come through - it was a very strong message... Said everyone has their ideas all wrong of how he got to the other side. (We don't know the reason - only that it was a dry drowning) He said he is worried about his Mom (me- Patti) The psychic said HE is near and he wants his spirit to be set free. He wants to get his message through. - So my sister in law called me to tell me about this. I am not sure of what I am in for??? I am not usually into this kind of stuff 'BUT' - I am willing to try anything !!! If it means some sort of an idea of WHAT MAY have Happened. I know if Derek had NEVER been found I would have sought out this kind of person. Just had to share this with you all...

APRIL 2, 2003 MY READING .....

Tonight I went to my ex-sister-in-law (she is more like a sister) and had a reading done. She had one done awhile ago and Derek came through wanting to set things straight... He was worried about his Mom and the stories everyone was saying surrounding his death. His cause of death is 'unknown' - only classed as a 'dry drowning'. Most people were saying he was murdered, the thought of suicide crossed people's minds but those that knew Derek couldn't see this as being the scenario - He was too happy of a guy and his Life was going so good when this tragedy hit. He had goals for himself and was following his dream.

Anyhow- I went tonight for this reading- there were 5 of us counting the girl who did the reading. Me, my sister in-law, and 2 very good friends. In this session Derek came through and told us that his death was accidental to some extent. He encountered someone he had seen before - didn't know but may have talked to before?? It sounded like they got into a bit of a tiff over a pack of smokes* (which were taken according to what was said here). The guy pushed him harder than he thought into a tree**  - knocking Derek out or the wind out of him?? (Which could explain the throat closure??) Sounds like then Derek may have stumbled around and ended up in the river?? Some of it was a bit confusing...

He said he is now playing the guitar and loves it - he's never played before that I know of?? He always wanted to learn to play an instrument. (I wonder if Luke taught him??)

He said he wants to get a message to his sister - she needs to write him a letter. In the meantime he is going to play some tricks on her to let her know he is around?? He won't freak her out though..

Also said was, how Derek and his Dad didn't have a good relationship ------won't disclose the conversation here..BUT - it was pretty much right on.....

Derek was a real charmer with the girls - don't know if this was his way of proving himself to being a true guy. I always worried about him and his identity - we used to talk alot about it. He did OK considering!! I tried hard to make life happy for both him & his sister as did many of our friends in this community. Derek didn't have just 1 dad - he had many here in this town, they all looked out for him!!          I am rambling off here....

The rest of the session was good! I did feel Derek's presence, his love coming through to us and his concern for us. I will continue to look for signs from him as he has given us some along the way.

*SMOKES - I often wondered why no one mentioned finding a pack of cigarettes or a lighter in Derek's pockets??

**TREE- I have a photo taken in Saskatoon of a tree beside the river (which I was looking at earlier today)  the only photo I took there by the river near where we thought he may have gone in?? I am going to send it to this girl who did the reading to see if it is familiar?? Also, I have had 3 people tell me of their dreams of Derek and something from behind. One friend even mentioned a tree and a path along side a river in her dream of Derek - this was even before she knew that he was found in the river??

I have a tape of this session and I will listen to it again and again. I know there is more but right now....

I thought I would let those of you know that this is more or less what came of it all. I have *never* done anything like this before - I am glad I did - it may not be the way it was - but for me it is something. It is the *not* knowing that is so very hard to deal with, the visions and different scenarios that one can come up with - yet I have always felt it was some form of a freak accident - so maybe this is how it was??? I am sure as I listen to the tape over again I will come up with more possible insight. I just know I LOVE & MISS DEREK SO VERY MUCH !!! This is still so much like a nightmare I am living in - the disbelief of him gone physically from this earth - wishing he would walk in the door at any moment - to give him one more hug & kiss !! I pray he will visit me in my dreamworld !
